When you are not working, what do you care about most? 

Kara loves to spend time with her family and dogs enjoying the outdoors! “We enjoy skiing, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, camping, and surfing.” Kara praises her husband and kindhearted children as her largest accomplishments.

What’s your financial journey? 

Kara began her career as an advisor over 30 years ago. After holding several positions starting from an advisor at a bank brokerage to managing a call center with goals to enhance advisor experiences, she has developed a deep understanding of how the rules and regulations affect the advisory landscape, its advisors, and their clients. That base knowledge has led Kara to her current role in Compliance & Supervision where she has gained an appreciation for the ever-changing industry and now enjoys working with advisors to navigate and manage that change.
