What’s your financial journey?

Sarah Nelson is the Director of Compliance & Oversight. Sarah leads by managing policy and procedure development, compliance, IT, systems functions, as well as supervising administrative and fiscal operations. She plays a critical role in partnering with our Founder and our other wealth advisors in strategic decision making to meet company objectives. Sarah oversees development and documentation to ensure that consistent and efficient workflows are in place. She is the backbone of the organization and strives to ensure all of Keystone’s clients are served with the utmost care and professionalism.

Prior to joining Keystone Financial Services, Sarah worked for a financial planning firm in Minnesota as their Client Services Manager and was an integral part of the tremendous growth that firm experienced. Sarah and the two owners of that firm doubled the assets under management during her tenure by tipping the operations upside down and rebuilding the foundation of the company into a well-oiled machine.

Sarah started working in the financial services industry right out of high school, while going to school in the evenings, bringing her industry experience to 18 years. She currently holds a degree in Business Administration and is working on her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. Sarah’s connection with our clients, her drive to solve problems, and her passion for helping others, make her a great asset to the Keystone team.
